We added these under the cabinet pulls to cover the marred finish. They look perfect. Way cheaper than refinishing 30 cabinet doors!

I misread the product listing title to be 3-3/4 in. "instead of "3-3/4 in (96 mm) Center-to-Center." The end-to-end length is approximately 6-1/2 in.More than twice the length of a standard, contractor grade doorbell here in the US; so for our application, it would draw more attention to the problem that we're trying to obscure. And that's my fault.That said, it's a beautiful piece of hardware, appears to be well-constructed, and I would think this item would hold up for years. The plain old ugly doorbell blanks you'll find elsewhere are twice the price of this quality item.

needed 2 backplates for my rack drawers, theses were perfect!couldn't find them in black, so just spray painted them...
