I got this to remove some rivets from a window at the local junkyard where I can’t bring my full compliment of tools. I was hoping this would be a magic bullet and magically make the rivets go away, but no such luck. It’s a little janky, but it absolutely does not do what it was designed to do. If you are thinking about buying this, may I direct your attention to the Dewalt battery powered die grinder. Or any die grinder. This may work in very specific situations, but overall, it really sucks.

I got this to use on a car door. I needed to replace the power window motor that is riveted from the factory. I was going to just use a grinder on the door until I came across this tool. I had no problems removing the rivets. It didn't damage the holes so I could use the same sized rivets when replacing the motor. I recommend this tool if you need something to protect the holes to use again.

I recently obtained a rivet tool, so I thought this tool would be a nice add. I tried it several times. The first time it was a learning process, but by the third time I think I got it right. After following the directions, it removed the rivet nicely. Using this tool was much better than just trying to drill the old rivet out. It comes with a collection for different sized rivets.

This tool set works really well! I had a loose threaded insert that was installed in my car, this kit made it easy to remove. The different sizes fit the tool quickly and worked with my drill. The included case looks good and keeps everything secure. Overall a good value!

This is a decent specialty tool. I missed that there was a video here and had to kind of figure it out on my own that it takes **two** hands to operate properly 😅Basically you get the strange experience of grabbing on right to what would be the drill bit, which of course is actually the outer sleeve. There's a hefty bit of friction but it's not grindy or problematic really, just feels like you wouldn't want to run the drill too fast.Everything seems sturdy and decent quality, and I was able to drill out a couple test rivets. Not sure how often I'll bother to change out the head for the occasional couple rivets I end up drilling vs. just the old fashioned way — but if you're here looking for such a tool this one does do the trick!

This rivet tool set comes with 1 rivet tool, several bits inside size marked plastic storage tubes, 1 sturdy wrench, 1 small but heavy-duty plastic attache style carry case, and 1 information packet. This appears to be a good quality crafted tool, made of what appears to be good quality metal. The same goes for the bits that come with it. The rivet tool and it's bits are strong, sturdy, and seem tough and durable enough. At least for normal use and common tasks. The rivet tool does have a somewhat thick rubber hand grip tightly surrounding the shaft. It's as soft and comfortable to hold and use as a mostly hardened with a very faint hint of spongeeness rubber grip can be. Keep in mind, though, that while opening the tool head to manuever, insert, or remove the bits, or any other bit mounting pieces, that it's very easy for these pieces to somehow dart and springboard themselves halfway across the floor. Happened to us twice within the first 10 minutes of examining this set for the first time. Luckily, we found all escaped pieces. Users might want to lay down a large white sheet across the floor, cover up vents, etc, to make escapees easier to find. The tool is easy enough to switch bits, once users have the jumping pieces under control. It's fairly easy to use as well, if the user knows how to do so. I don't think it would be overly difficult for newcomers to learn, either.5 out of 5 stars.

This is my first time trying to remove rivets.I bought this thing because I didn’t want to damage or enlarge the holes. So my first attempt was super frustrating, the rivet heads would just spin with the drill bit. It took a crazy amount of force, sweat and tears to get through the rivets. The rubber handle slides down as you put force on to it. At one point the whole instrument spun apart. So on my second attempt I used my dremel to score the rivet heads with and X. This gave the tools teeth something to bite on. This worked. Slow and steady wins the race. Be patient and drill slowly. You will feel it slowly going through the rivet. Then pop… you’re done! The holes weren’t damaged.I’m glad I bought it. It did its job but my dremel made all the difference in the world.

It's not often that I mess up a pop rivet but when I do it seems like removing the rivet makes more damage than if I just left the one in that wasn't correct. This hand metal box of rivet removers is absolutely perfect. I put a pop rivet in a piece of metal intentionally not looking good it was crooked and then I referred this little handy-dandy rivet remover tool. Plus it makes it very nice so that you can carry it out what you need. The case itself is perfect for carrying around and making sure that you can put it right next to where you're working. That saves numerous steps. You're not always having to run back-and-forth trying to get the correct size item to move the rivet with a drill. One main reason it seems that I use pop rivets more often than other people is the fact that I have horses and they are continually breaking little metal pieces that is that need to be put back together I could use screws or nuts and bolts but I have elected in the past to use pop rivets. It seems just to work faster and the last longer. I do know that since it works as well on Poppitz it would work even better on regular rivet center used with a bucking bar and air impact. If you're looking for something to give to that special guy in your life or even a girl like me this would be a perfect little thing as a supper stocking stuffer.
