The 28-1/2 in. handle is connected to an elliptical cam mechanism for even pressure and smooth cutting. The included miter guide helps align material for 0 to 45 degree angle cuts. ROBERTS 10-63 cuts laminate and engineered wood flooring, LVP, LVT, SPC, WPC flooring, VCT, MDF, soft plastic, vinyl siding and fiber cement siding.

Very nice addition for putting down LVP. Have always used a saw when laying LVP flooring, this is a vast improvement.

Ordered this tool in anticipation of a floor we were getting ready to do. When it showed up we assembled the tool following the instructions, then tested it on the flooring. It ripped the laminated layers apart. After trying a couple more test pieces. We disassembled the tool and sent it back. To be fair, the tool may work well on thinner material and other types of materials as well.

This thing is a HUGE time saver. I did a floor that would have taken all afternoon in less than 2 hours. Just measure, cut and lay them down. It makes perfect 90 degree cuts and seems pretty rigid so far. The tile I was putting down was pretty thin so it may be more difficult with thicker gauge material.

We have struggled with cheaper methods of cutting our tiles but, this solved the problem & made it relatively simple. We highly recommend this if you are in need of a guillotine cutter for your flooring. It is heavier than expected, which is good & the handle is long enough for some added leverage.

Two of us were redoing the flooring and the cutter was fantastic for me, but the other person is about 40 pounds lighter than I and had some trouble getting the blade to cut through. If the handle were longer or extendable it would've gotten five stars.
