I purchased these for my 2nd grade class room. My kid LOVED them. Much easier to put together then the wooden kind. Only bummer, the box had ONE Philips head screw driver. So if you are getting this for a class or a kids party you need to buy extra mini screw drivers.

Four stars because these kits look like a very nice set and fun for kids. However, when I opened the box and was able to see the different building kits, the first thing I looked for were the screws that would be used to put each kit together. Another reviewer wrote that the screws were small. Indeed, they were very, very tiny. To be honest, I did not open each kit. I was able to see through each plastic bag the different parts of the kits. I don't see how kids (of any of the recommended ages) could possibly use these screws unless they had incredible dexterity in their hands. It would be different if you only had to screw in a few things, but looking a the kits, there are many that need to be used for each project. While the finished kits look cool and fun, I think it would be frustrating for kids and adults alike to put together.

It's a perfect gift for 6-10 year kid. Kids will definitely enjoy it. Definitely value for money.

This kit has fairly easy to follow directions with great results that are a favorite of my grandkids.

Small pieces makes it hard for a child to complete kits. The kits are educational in terms of current and motors.

My nephew is 11 and is very into electronics. He made all of these immediately and loved every second! Highly recommend!
