The Rockville RPM47 is a 5 channel wood cabinet powered mixer with Bluetooth and USB interface. This mixer has a built in amplifier that is perfect for (2) PA speakers or karaoke speakers. It has a line output so you can easily add powered subs, or additional amps, or powered speakers, or monitors to your set-up. This powered mixer is rugged and tough! It is enclosed in a high quality wooden enclosure which can take a real beating! This model has 5 channels making it versatile enough for most bands. Compared with our popular RPM45; the RPM47 model has the following upgrades: 1. 5 channels instead of 4, 2. We added Bluetooth, 3. We added a USB interface allowing you to play back music from your computer or record to your DAW, 4. We added a 7 band master equalizer to fine tune your main mix, 5. We added a really nice effects engine with 24 great sounding effects.

I was concerned about the lower wattage output I would have using my old 16ohm Sunn speakers on this 8ohm unit, WOW!!!, was I surprised! This RPM47 handles them just fine with a loud and clear sound. I linked my phone with BT just to see how it sounded and again I was surprised with the amount of lower and upper frequencies this thing has. The 7 band equalizer is really much better than a five on other units, able to fine tune the sound better. So, I plugged a couple of mic's in and sang along with some songs from my phone on BT, this way I could set up a balance between them and tweak the tone, fx and volume settings for each mic and using the master volume to increase/decrease the overall mix. I do not plan on using this as karaoke, but instead to amplify the percussionist in our band as we already have a nice PA setup. This RPM47 will be an addition to our setup, as in by using my Sunn's as monitors as they were originally intended, we can also take a line out from my amp to our main PA to amplify the drums. The fx effects are fine... standard like others in its price range, can't complain. So, yes for a very tiny portion of what you would pay for a very high end set up, this little unit does a really nice job with power to spare! I gave it 5 stars because there's not a 6th star option!

Lame. Headphone jack doesn’t work, tried different headphones and jacks, adapters, etc. Line out left has no sound from it, so no work around on the headphone situation… eff Makes a crazy whining sound through the speakers, as mentioned in previous reviews. In USB mode the whining is louder, in Bluetooth mode the whining/beeping noise is loudest. This is an honest review. You Do Not need to find out for yourself, like I did…!!!!Do Not Buy This!!!!

For the price, it's actually very nice. I like how it has built-in effects that you can adjust how subtle it is or not. I like to throw on a little bit of reverb for the mix and keep the guitars with no effect at all. I also appreciated the Bluetooth functionality as well, I was able to play a drum track on while playing along.
