Bought this to put in the bed of the truck to secure luggage for a cross-country trip. Folds up small and will fit in the toolbox. Was easy to secure to the truck bed.

Last minute purchase for a road trip to GA it was one of the best decision ove ever made, tough material, nothing inside got wet ( make sure the zipper is facing away from the front of course), for our trip it managed to take in a regular/big size luggage, a carry on and 2 big back packs!!!!

It had missing hook hangers. It got the 21 cubic foot. It only came with 4 hook ties and it says it suppose to have 6. In reality, you will need 10 hook ties.I bought it very last minute so I had to make it work with 4 hook ties and it did ever well for a 4 hour trips. I just would have felt more secure knowing I at least had 6 hooks. The zipper is great and the material is great

Moved to a new state with just my car and the interior was PACKED so I needed to make use of my roof racks to get everything to the new place. I wanted to put all my clothes up there because they are low value but take up a ton of space, so I needed something waterproof to protect them from rain up there. Was able to fit all my clothes, plus blankets and even a pillow in this roof cargo bag and got everything to the new place safe & dry

We were able to store 3 medium-sized suitcases and a few boxes on the roof of our car, allowing us to have 4 passengers on a cross-country trip.

The soft shell roof bag is a fantastic solution for packing on vacation! It works exceptionally well, providing ample space to store all my gear without taking up room inside the vehicle. The material is durable and water-resistant, ensuring my belongings stay safe even in unpredictable weather. I love how easy it is to attach to my roof rack, and it fits securely during travel. This bag has made road trips much more convenient, allowing for extra storage without the bulk. Overall, I highly recommend this soft shell roof bag for anyone looking to maximize their packing efficiency for trips!

In general, I'm not a fan of rooftop cargo carriers because they reduce gas milage 1.5-3mpg on average. This bag is no exception. It may deform in the wind but that doesn't make it any more aerodynamic. The materials, straps, and zippers all seem pretty strong but try to keep it in the shade or covered somehow when possible as sunlight will eventually break it down. Driving over about 70 mph will also slowly then quickly cause issues at seams and where straps are connected to the body of the bag.One thing I really liked is the inclusion of a non-slip pad to go between it and the roof of the vehicle. This helps secure it better to the roof as well as protects the paint up there. This bag also is pretty easy to refold and stuff into its carrying bag. It's about the size of two loaves of bread when in the bag, making it fairly easy to store. If possible, store soft, fluffy items in the bag, such as blankets, clothing, pillows, life preservers, and sleeping bags rather than boxes or other things with hard edges as they can slide around and wear holes through the cargo bag.The cargo bag is held in place by shutting the doors on its straps. I understand why they use this method but I don't completely trust it. For that reason I added a cargo net (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D6B19V4J) over the the bag as an extra layer of security to prevent it from coming off the vehicle while driving. I used to ride a motorcycle before I had kids, and stuff flying off car roofs was a big hazard. This would be fine for trips to the beach or to move stuff to a new apartment across town. Driving across the country might be pushing it.
