We got this to use for Christmas since we knew our daughter was getting some larger gifts and we would need the extra space. However, when we went to use it for the first time, the zipper broke. The bag wasn’t even full. We tried to unzip it to load our stuff and it just broke right off.Otherwise it’s a great buy for your $$ just hope you can get one use out of it unlike us.

It is not actually a 57"L x 43"W x 18"H 25sf cube. The shape is contoured to death on the top half. If your gear is all curved you'll be happy. If you're hauling totes or stuff like cardboard boxes, they won't fit well. My truck's tonneau cover isn't waterproof, so bought this to protect camping gear in my short bed truck.

it fit on the roof of my van great and was able to cram a lot of luggage into it fine but there were no instructions as to which direction to orient it so we put it on in an aerodynamic looking fashion. This put the zipper towards the front which in dry conditions would not have been an issue but we ran into a thunderstorm and the wind pulled the zipper cover back and everything in the front section was wet by the time we drove out of the storm. better install instructions or even snaps to hold this cover down in place would have been great

We used this to move from NY to AZ. This held a huge amount of stuff. It never moved at all. Stayed tight on the car. Very easy to put onto car.

When our flight was cancelled we decided to drive our family instead. This product arrived the same day I ordered it. I did pack our gear up in the bag inside trash compactor bags like I do backpacking. It came with a pad to go against the roof and everything we needed to use it right out of the package. Our total trip was 2000 miles and there was rain. We were driving on the interstate at interstate speeds a good bit of the trip. We are looking forward to using this for camping in the future.

My partner and I had a 4 day long camping trip we went on in another state. Both states are notorious for crazy canyon winds that you can feel your car being pushed around in. This thing held fast with no sliding or shifting, even when we were going 70mph and dealing with those winds.Secondly, there is SO much space in this carrier. We were able to fit 2 full size suit cases, 2 camping chairs, as well as 2 golf club bags full of supplies with wiggle room to spare.3rd and most importantly of all, the weather proofing. The last day of our camp it started to pour on is. Thunder, lightening, moderate winds, the works! This kept everything we had still inside bone dry, even with the car parked. On the drive back home we also dealt with more rain and even snow into the mountains. When we got home, everything still completely dry!The zippers are incredibly durable and easy to use. I could see that if you over stuffed the bag then you would run into issues of the zipper splitting or refusing to close up, but... Don't overfill it?Overall this was a phenomenal purchase and I would certainly buy another one for my second vehicle.

Bought this for our travel from Ohio to Florida and then back. Worked great. I have no roof rack so the hinges for the doors worked great. Seams were very sturdy and held perfect. I put two check bags four carry on bags and two swim bags still had room for a little more. I highly recommend this bag

This is our second one that we’ve bought. The first one did tear up but it was our fault. We loaded it with a lot of heavy stuff. Second time around we now put a blanket inside the bag to cover our stuff. So, it doesn’t create any holes and so it can protect our stuff from the rain. It’s not waterproof but your stuff won’t be completely soaked. But if you cover your stuff up with like big bag then that solves your problems. We drive cross country frequently. We’ve gone through all weathers and it’s still is in good shape. We’ve driven over 20k miles from east to west and west to east w/o a problem. We use zip ties for extra security. That’s what it looks like currently it’s not fully filled up.
