how to use your tool ？
- Connect your fertilizer bottle and valve and garden hose.
- Penetrate root feeder into soil.
- Load fertilizer into bottle （if needed），then turn on faucet，choose feeder model or watering model，use valve to adjust water flow.

Good quality for the price. The fertilizer bottle connections could be better be sure to use the teflon tape that comes with the kit and use water soluble fertilizer.

Heavy duty. Hasn’t leaked.Comes in 2 parts (not a single 36 inch long unit). Threads together very easily.Comes with a rubber tip that will protect my other tools from the sharp point during storage.

It is sturdy, solid metal. However, it tends to leak at all joints. I disassembled and wrapped joints in plumbing tape. That helped but didn't completely fix the issue.

This feeder is made of stainless steel for the shaft and top grade materials for the other items. It is easy to use and can save plants and shrubs during extreme heat like we have here in Texas. The only suggestion that I have would be to make the fertilizer attachment out of something other than plastic, something stronger to compliment the rest of the feeder. I would consider it to be the weak link in the chain. That said, overall this is an excellent root feeder that should last for many years. I highly recommend it! No clogging and an outstanding value for the money. It has performed beautifully.

The feeder is stout and works well. The plastic bubble for fertilizer does not fit well but is functional with leaks. I am not disappointed. Well worth the money.

When looking to buy and item I take a look at the negative (1 Star) reviews to get a feeling of what to expect. For this product there were a few with issue claiming bad machining, cheap plastic. Either the product has changed or they bought something else as I received a nicely fabricated stainless steel probe with well machined hose attachment, a nice container for the fertilizer, and a brass on/off valve. I wasn’t thrilled with the teflon tape so I used some pipe dope (with teflon) to join the two pipe pieces. With the water off I pushed the probe down a few inches then turned the water on and jetted the probe down to the fertilizer container, turned the dial so that the fertilizer would add, let it run for a bit, shut off the water and moved to the other side of the tree I’m working on, rinse and repeat. Bottom line it works as advertised, gets water and fertilizer past the yard and down to the tree roots. Would buy again.
