I do realize that I'm putting this accessory on nearly a decade after it was designed and originally made, but the quality is not what it was.Installation videos show a far better kit than I was sold. Seller may not know. The box was sealed with Roush packing tape. The air intake itself, however, has no Roush branding on it at all. Stickers are provided if you want to do it yourself.The joining gaskets are cheaper, the fittings for the MAF and vacuum connections are rubber push-ins not threaded, no gasket for the bottom of the filter box was included so I had to make my own (since it is definitely needed), and while the molded intake tube does say "made in the USA", everything screams 'Chinese knockoff'.I have previously purchased K&N intakes on multiple vehicles and have been accepting of certain features that could have been made better, but this particular Roush intake seems to cut every corner possible.That being said, I ordered it because a dry filter sounded nice for a change and I haven't given Roush much business, so I did install it anyway and we'll see if any of these 'cut corners' affect longevity. It is just an air intake, but it is a brand name product at full price. Expected more and have seen more from earlier versions of this same model.The first week of use did reveal a better growl (than stock) while accelerating and no extra noise while cruising. No faults have come up, so it does appear to be fully functional. For now.(I do not receive any endorsements from, or work for, any automotive company and am not a professional reviewer. Just a dude who works on his vehicles occasionally)

Truck has a nice growl at certain rpm’s and I noticed a slight increase in throttle response and power under heavy acceleration. Only problem was the rubber grommets will not fit right inside the tube unless you de- burr the hole and the air scoop fits loose inside the air box but that’s not a huge problem because once everything is installed it’s solid

I have no idea what the negative reviews on this CAI is about? 🤷♂️ I’ve only ever used Roush products in my Mustang and this is no different!Great throttle response and enhanced sound in the stock exhaust due to the free flowing air to the engine that isn’t restricted by all the bends from the stock system.But you’ll have to see for yourself I guess if you’re skeptical.Cheers

Install was fairly easy. You would think for the money you spend they would include instructions. Probably takes about a hour. Nice growl afterwards

Pretty simple to install if you have ANY mechanical aptitude whatsoever, don't overthink it as it's very basic. Adds noticeable throttle response and sounds really nice when paired with a Flowmaster exhaust system. Once you get over stomping on it and drive it normally, you actually see about a mile per gallon fuel mileage increase. I did anyway.

Quick and easy install with basic tools gives a nice growl when accelerating, I think my gas mileage has gone down because it’s hard to not get on it from a stop every time I’m driving. I am enjoying the added power too much I think

Not impressed! When I recieved the intake it was box inside a box which was damage on two sides. Upon inspecting the intake the main tube was cracked from the end all the way up to the first Outlet. I went ahead and installed it. I already had a Corsa intake and thought I would try the Roush and see what kind of performance I would get it is a ROUSH right? Nope the Corsa out performed it in zero to 60 time and throttle response and I even got better mileage. I doubt the crack at anything to do with the poor performance considering I had it pretty well sealed off with the clamp they supplied. I even met the guy one time just expected more out of their product

This thing is great. The install only took about half an hour for a novice and the rear is amazing! I'm not sure if it made a major impact to performance but time will tell.A shout out to York Performance, the seller. When the box arrived, the air box wasn't the right one. I think it was an error on behalf of the manufacturer though. A few emails and some pictures later and they contacted Rousch who next day air shipped me a replacement without any hassle of having to return the wrong part! Great service from both York and Rousch!
