I bought this to outline a hole I cut in the hood of my car for a hood scoop. it works great it can easily be cut with a pair of scissors but only if you are cutting a straight cut. if you are trying to cut a 45° angle like you would for a corner it will be hard because even my Dykes would not cut through the metal clips so I recommend cutting the rubber coating with a knife and just reaching in and pulling out the metal clips. I also added glue to help help it stay on since it is for me an automotive use. I would buy it again. Looks nice too

This trim works great for edging on metal roof racks. The only thing i had trouble with was cutting it because of the metal interior. I was using 4 in sections and tried a tube cutter, tin snips, and scissors but the metal always came out a little frayed or bent. It would be nice to know what the ideal cutting tool is for this. Otherwise--awesome!

This edge trim is fantastic. I appreciate how strong it holds and that it seems very well made. Most U-channels that you find online have a set opening size and can only be applied to edges with that same size, but this one can be widened or narrowed as needed, which makes it great for a variety of uses.My one wish would be that it was packaged differently as it was tangled when I received it, but overall, great product and great quality.
