It lives up to its reputation with ease. I’m sure this thing will outlast my lifetime. You get what you pay for and then some with this product. I bought the locking wheels too. Exceedingly sturdy. I should not admit this but have put heavy stuff on top to move across the shop to keep from carrying. Even loaded ot holds up well and rolls with ease

This product is very sturdy, a lot of space (55 gallons)!However, I think the price is a little expensive, considering you have to purchase the lid separately so I paid $140 for one garbage can and lid.

I needed a good, large bin to load needles and cones into bags for disposal and this is IT. However, 55 gallon bags for this thing are NOT too common. Watch out because while there are a lot of 55 gallon bags out there on the shelves, they're made for 55 gallon drums that are smaller diameter and taller. Those bags don't fit. This BRUTE has a 26 1/2" diameter top and 33" tall. The way they measure bags is laid flat for a width and height measurement and it's not a 3D type measure. Most all of the big bags are only 36" wide. This BRUTE being 26 1/2" diameter means you need bags that are at least 41 1/2" x 33" ( (26.5 x 3.14)/2 ) or specifically noted that they are for use with this BRUTE 55gal container.

Holey moley its huge. only complaint it was packed with tons of plastic bubble wrap but the inside was full of water and gunk.
