Had to remove the internal spring to keep it from unlatching any time the wind blew it in the open direction. Works better now

the size is a little smaller than the original therefore we had to drill 2 extra holes however it ultimately worked well. caulk filled the old holes.

Put this on my forest river cherokee greywolf travel trailer to replace the junk plastic ones that it came with from factory, which always break, mine in the first year, these fit great, they are sturdy and I doubt they will break anytime soon. Only down side is that the wife can't get it unmatched, it latches firmly into place and requires a bit of pressure to release. I don't have any problem with it at all. I will say, my wife isn't a woman who does things like that in the first place, so I don't think she tried real hard, she always says it's my job.

Replaced the original plastic door holder after it snapped. This metal one is great and should last a very long time.

I put this on the side door of my enclosed trailer, replacing the chain/spring that came on it. Makes a world of difference. Now I can open the door fully and it stay there. My favorite feature is the T latch that is spring loaded and stays flat when not in use. The stainless steel matches my diamond plate and blends in so you don’t notice it.
