I bought twi to have one as a spare. First pumped worked for approximately 9 months before it quit. The manufacturer stood by their warranty and sent me a new pump. Worked great up until it died. Pump is quiet and powerful, I hope the first one was just bad luck as overall I'm very pleased.

The overall product is awesome it’s works perfect for our travel trailer. The only thing we had trouble with was getting the pressure set just right. You have to use a screw driver to set it. So we basically just ended up messing with it till it didn’t sound weird. But we have great water pressure now. No issues with it so far.

This is a replacement pump mine quit working. Pressure is much better than expected. I didn't like the plastic parts that came with it so I replaced them with brass.

I'm using it as a solar backup for my large 1.5hp AC home water pump, so when the power goes out, water still comes out of the faucets, if not a bit slower at lower pressure. It seems to do the job just fine. Unsure about longevity but it seems about as well made as you could expect for one of these little pumps, and with the light duty cycle I'm running it under I expect it should hold up for a while.

I really wanted to love this pump! I sent the first one back because, after installing it onto my RV and turning it on, it overheated after 10 minutes of pumping water (quite nicely), but then shut off due to the heat, and I mean HEAT. You could not touch it, it was that hot. (((SIZZLE))) I was sad about this because honestly it was the most quiet pump I've ever used and I was quite impressed...until it did the overheat/shut-off thing. So, bummer. I was actually worried it might catch on fire!Hoping I simply got a dud, I sent the first pump back for a replacement, only to be greeted by the second pump that was not quiet at all, but was very noisy (hmm, odd). It, too, pumped water quite nicely, until... unfortunately, it, too, majorly-overheated and shut off, also after about 10 minutes of use. So while I would really love to give this pump a high rating, I can't because it's obviously defective. Such a bummer.

I bench tested this pump alongside another (similar) 12V pump. This one was rated at a slightly lower GPM rating (6), compared to the other that was rated at 7 GPM. Both ran easily, powered by some small leads and a LFP motorcycle battery. I had my son hold the leads to the battery while I ran the hoses into a bucket. I didn't realize it but of of the 1/2" hoses that I used had a mud wasp "mud" packed into the end of it. When I test fired the pump, I built pressure and shot that mud wasp stuff out like a bullet. It did so without even laboring. The 1/2 hose adapters and pre-filter fit perfectly and I had no leaks, even without hose clamps. This pump provided some guidance on how to adjust the pressure regulator, but other one did not. It is interesting that they included that information in the instructions because elsewhere in the instructions they basically say to leave it alone. I'm sure there is a YouTube video out there somewhere describing how to do it.I'll be adjusting my pressure down a bit because both of these pumps are going onto my sailboat. One will be for pumping potable drinking water and the other will be used for deck washing and other misc. tasks (cockpit shower?).Both of these pumps came with some water in them, from testing at the factory. I would advise that you drain the pump upon receipt if you're not going to use it for a while. I had one of these pumps stored outside in a shed and in another month it may have frozen and caused damage.

The pump in our motorhome died, So I ordered this as a replacement and was quite impressed when I received it. It's a bit bigger than the standard RV pump it replaced but then again it's also a 6 gallon per minute 70 PSI pump, That's a big upgrade because the stock pump in most RV's is only around 3 gallons per minute at 30-35 PSI.The bolt hole patterns also didn't line up so I needed to drill new holes to mount the new pump but then again you kind of expect that with upgrades. I did reduce the pressure to the RV standard of 30 PSI as I didn't wanna blow up the plumbing in the motorhome. But it still puts out nearly twice the water flow of the original..With that said since it's running at close to half it's rated MAX pressure I added an accumulator tank to prevent it from cycle nearly as often. Even with the kitchen faucet wide open the pump would constantly cycle on and off about every 2 seconds. Not only was this annoying but it's also going to wear the pump out much faster. The accumulator tank prevents this, Now with the kitchen faucet open full blast it only cycles about once every 30 seconds rather than once every 2 seconds which will greatly extend the pumps life.Even if you don't add an accumulator pump I still highly recommend reducing the factory pressure to the RV standard of 30-35 psi because you really shouldn't be running 70 PSI with RV plumbing.Anyhow I'm really happy with this pump, I wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised at the quality I received. One of the benefits of buying a pump with higher ratings than you need is that when you reduce the pressure down to 30 PSI the pump is no longer working at 100 percent duty cycle, it's now working at half the duty cycle which means that it's gonna last a lot longer. Which is a good thing because it was a pain to replace.Interesting enough Even though it's a larger more powerful pump than the OEM pump it's quieter. So with that said I Even though I've only been using it for a few days I'm very happy with it. My only complaint is that I think it's a bit expensive, I'd be more comfortable paying closer to $70 for it. But then again if you go to the marine store and look at similar pumps they run closer to $200 but those are marine grade quality pumps whatever that means.
