Worst baskets bought in 23 years. I hardly ever do a return to Amazon. The shame is that I have to disassemble this junk, find a box from one of my other many Amazon purchases that will hold the baskets, and then go to the drop off. Pain in the _ _ _. These baskets are flimsy and so light that they float in the skimmers and leaves go under the basket. The very first day the baskets floated and caused me a full days work cleaning the clogged lines and eventually the impellers on my pump. The lines were so clogged that when I removed my packed pump basket, the leaves rushed into the impeller housing. This was not my worst leaf day, thank goodness, and yet such a mess. There are several good options on Amazon. Pay attention to the ratings. Amazon ... Take these guys off your selection.

Fit as advertised. Shipping was fast. The issue is that the base of the handle will pop off while pulling it out of the skimmer. The screws are tiny and the plastic won’t hold them for long. Have to use your own screws to keep it secured correctly. They also float to the top of the water level when the pool pump turns off. So you’ll have to add a weight to keep it seated.

Bought this to replace my existing baskets six months ago. My previous baskets had the regular handles that were difficult to reach when full, not to mention scary to reach your hand into. These fit perfectly and had no issues with attaching the handles. I love having the extended handles, not only for safety but much more comfortable in cold weather! So far they seem to stay put and prevent about the same amount of debris as the originals.

I have an in ground pool and these baskets are too light for the skimmer. They float to the top and debri and leaves go under the basket and into the suction line. Good idea but not heavy enough to stay put.

Do not buy these baskets. The wand that came with it, Once I attached the screws to hold it in, once I picked up the basked by the wand, the screws stripped right out of the wand. Used in my pool and once leaves flowed in, I reached in and grabbed by the wand. Once again, the wand came right out of the screws. I reached for the plastic string that’s attached to use if you don’t have a wand. It broke…. Super cheap plastic.

They are easy to put together and I like the handle sticks up so you are not putting your hand into leaves not knowing what is under them. Durable enough to hold a huge bull frog that thing was fat but pulled him out of there
