Does not bleed when coated with watercolor washes. Consistent, nib-like line with the ease of a felt tip pen.

These markers are far superior to other fine tip markers which dry out if the cap is left off for only a minute. These markers retain their usability even if the cap is left off for a couple of minutes. They come in a variety of sizes for different purposes. My friend, a professional artist uses the different sizes for different purposes all the time.I highly recommend this product.

I love how these pens flow, they don't bleed through paper, and they last longer than any other brand I've tried.

I love these pens! They're a little bit expensive (for what they are) but they roll so smoothly with proper black-black ink and are very satisfying for anyone who is particular over how their pen feels on paper when writing. They run out of ink fairly quickly but for how they feel when writing I can forgive them. That's why I buy them in bulk! You have to give a few seconds depending on what you're writing on just to avoid your writing from smudging, but anyone who prefers to use this kind of pen should know that anyway.0.8 is the best size for normal writing and for inking outlines When drawing. Some other sizes are available (andIj cheaper in price) but they just don't feel right, write as well and the finer ones start to feel very shaky in detailed work.

I like the dark tone of ink and there’s no skipping. It suits me as I go through a great deal of these quickly. A great piece.

The thickness of these are perfect for my drawings. The tip feels nice when pressed against paper. It lays so nicely and has a beautiful finish. Great product for the price. Thank you!

I LOVE these pens. My favorite is #8 but I have them all and they are ever faithful and last for years. When I use them on fabric projects, they retain their color through washings. An all around great product I have on hand always.

Admittedly these Sakura Pigma Micron pens are very expensive elsewhere, even in multi-packs, but these are a pretty good price from Amazon: Next day delivery with Prime. The Black (08) write beautifully, and its ink is a dense black that is permanent. Each pen lasts a very long time, but you must replace the cap immediately after use! Easy to hold.I appreciated their caps snapped on and each pen has a shirt clip.As for Sakura Pigma Micron's other colours, best you shop around, but Amazon still have good prices.

These are exceptional quality pens. The line weight, boldness, and richness of the color surpasses expectations. I purchased 05s and 08s. I prefer the finer 05s for writing and the heavier 08s for artwork. I did a few tests, and the ink was able to handle being submerged in water, but will smear if it meets ink of another color. I use them quite extensively as my work requires a fair amount of writing and my hobby involves a lot of drawing. Surprisingly the pen was able to avoid total destruction after I left one in the washer. All of the ink pooled in the cap and not a single drop spilled out onto my clothes. Surprisingly the pen was still able to write after the fact.Unfortunately the pens do have a bit of a durability issue. The seam where the metal nib joins the plastic casing is not durable at all, and I've had one pen so far break down to a point where it's not really usable. I am not violent with these pens, the worst I do is tap them on a desk when I'm bored. Skimming other reviewers it seems to be a consistent issue. It begins leaking constantly, but thankfully it stays under the cap. The ink itself seems to run dry pretty quickly, but I'm not sure if that's just how often I personally use them, or if it's a problem with this particular pen. Either way I wish they'd last a little longer. The numbers at the top telling you which is what color and size also wears off too easily. I thought it was a neat feature but after only a week none of my pens retained their marking.I also had a small issue with the colored pens. Many of the colors are nowhere near the same color as what's shown on the plastic caps. The Pink looks like it would be a soft, pleasant color but is instead an aggressive, almost Fuchsia shade. The Red, Green, and Blue pens were fine. I would skip on the other colors. In summary you will be hard pressed to find pens better than this for inking, artwork, and writing. Especially at this price point. However the physical construction is something to be desired. If durability and longevity are concerns for you, consider the Staedtler Fineliners.
