Good price for a very helpful product. If you transport your fishing rods anywhere, by car, boat, airplane, or bike these little covers protect the tips from getting broken or chipping the guide inserts. I use them on all my rods.The only caveat I have is that if you have large tip guides or roller guides on the tip these might be too small.

I had to open up the opening a bit and then use my pliers to pull them over my 3 main rod tips. I imagine over time of taking them on or off it will be easier but hopefully retain that snug opening. Once in they do the trick. Like little booties for your rods.
