I've been searching and searching for a small tea pot. Finally found this one. The description says it'll work on newer induction cook tops. Guess what - It doesn't work. Back it goes.

Very good product. It is attractive and it works well. The strainer is very effective with a very fine mesh. It will not heat well on an induction stove top. However, most people will use it as a poor-over/in teapot anyway.

Great size and quality teapot. It’s has a sleek design. It can make a nice amount of tea for the tea drinkers. It’s used often

I was looking for a relatively small teapot in which to brew my afternoon tea. This one is just what I was looking for. Ample capacity for a few cups of tea, and an infuser that works great.

I loved the teapot. Its cuts’ looks small but holds a reasonable amount. I love the pot but felt a bit deceived with the knob. As you can see from the picture, the knob is actually plastic sprayed with silver paint to match the teapot so after using it on the stove for a little while the know has started melting. So I have to source out a metal replacement knob.

I ordered the larger size and wasn't sure it would hold the amount listed online, but it does. It's not huge but really holds a lot, and combine with the infuser, it makes wonderful teas. It also looks so pretty just to be left out on the stovetop. The other biggie for me is the placement of the handle. Most teapots have the handle up over the top - so when you go to pour the boiling water, your hand gets scalded from hot steam rising. I will never buy another of that style again. The handle on this teapot is placed on the side, so when you tip it to pour, the steam rises past the top of the pot and never hits your hand. Good design and very happy with it.

I hesitated to order this because I have always had a ceramic pot, but they are very difficult to find in a large size. This pot is a great size and surprisingly it keeps the tea hotter for longer than the ceramic pots do. I do use a cozy with it though. It is single walled so hot to the touch. The only other thing that would make this pot perfect is if they flattened out the handle and the spout. They are round and on the thinner side. The handle gets hot and you have to use a pad for heat in order to pour it and the spout will slide on the rim of the cup if you lean it in the rim to pour with it. Once you know that, it is fine. All in all, if I had to replace it, I would buy it again

This is a beautiful tea pot that will look great in any kitchen. It's 2L, just what I was looking for to heat and pour coffee water. I stuck a magnet to it to see if it was magnetic, and it was, but just barely. I then heated 2L of water, it boiled very quickly, so it is totally compatible with my newer induction cooktop. Now the bad news: The lovely curved handle is very hard to use because it's too skinny and curved. If your fingers are large, stiff, or arthritic in the least, you won't be able to grip the thin slippery handle and the pot will tilt forward until your knuckle touches the hot side of the pot. I'm going to keep it, but will have use a mitt to pour. Such a shame, the pot is beautiful. 3.5 stars, recommended with serious caveats.

Works on my IKEA induction stove, and pours without spilling or dripping.
