Great value! Better than most ceramic pickups on import guitars. I've had great results with their humbuckers also.

I purchased these on sale for $10 as an experiment. Threw together an sss pickguard and was honestly surprised how good they sound. Nice and glassy like most ceramics imo.

These sound good, retain a "strat" character and have respectable, if not high output. Warm sounding, without being muddy, while still getting the single coil sound. The build quality is on par with most sub $500 OEM pickups. They look to be potted in wax, and wrapped with black shrink plastic under the covers. The leads are shielded with PVC. Manufacturer claims about DC impedance were correct, I read 5.1 neck and 5.4 middle. I was never planning on using the bridge pickup, so I can't say for sure about that.At this price point, you might worry that "good for the price" still means not good enough to bother installing. I'm happy to tell you they absolutely are. I would still consider these to be an upgrade for most import guitars. They lack some of the bottom and sparkle that $100 pickups have, but they're fine for everything short of the studio. Definitely a solid buy.

As many pros have said, ceramic is a type of magnet. It is not good or bad. You can pay way over $100 for a set of ceramics from big-name makers. I paid $6.99 for a set of these, and they perform great. In a blind sound test with friends, four out of five preferred these over a set of Fender Tex Mex that cost $1oo. I bought 2 more sets just to have.
