The engineering of this kit is poor. After installing this fender extension, the license plate bracket and reflectors cannot be used because it hits the rear fender. So if your want retain the fear fender this kit is not for you. So in the end, I ended up with just a fender for over $200. Definitely not worth the money.

I installed the fender months ago and have had no issues. As seen in the pic, the license plate can be mounted properly. I ride 2-up frequently enough and have not experienced the license plate scrapping the tire. The plate actually hangs past the tire. This was a good purchase.
