great product and very useful! tip of syringe melts easily. so if using hot plate stirrer do not touch bottom or sides of beaker.

They only last a few weeks before they lose accuracy. We buy 2 every month. Currently looking for other options. It gets expensive buying these.

The title suggest that the volume is continuously variable, but that is not the case. I need to fill 45 microliter cups and the closest setting is 50 microliter. They should have printed a photo of the table that shows which discrete values this device is limited to. I have a colleague who has a pipetter that is truely continously variable. I was expecting that from this device and was therefore disappointed.But worse than this is the controllability. There is friction between plunger and pipette tip. The device is not able to handle this friction and the result is that the liquid squirts out every time. The liquid bounces back from my cup and spills over the wall. It looks more like an ejection device than a pipetter. For me it is useless. I did not give it one star because it is 8x cheaper than the professional device that my colleague has.
