It’s a pretty solid frame but it didn’t fit on my 1983 Foxbody convertible (on the back). There was not enough room height-wise for the screw holes to line up, but I think my car would have that issue with other frames as well. It would have worked on the front if I had been willing to take off the stock license plate holder. Definitely would be a good buy as far as quality goes if it fits your year.

Fits perfect on a 2012 Mustang and I like that the color blue matches the numbers on my license plate. For those of us that drove the original mustangs, this is a nice vintage style frame and appears to be good quality!Something to note, the frame I received had 4 mounting holes.....2 at the bottom that are not shown in the picture. Luckily so did my plate and I had some short flat head screws and chrome acorn nuts that made this work. Since the mustang only has two holes at the top for mounting the frame, this was the only solution I thought would look good. Also, the bottom portion of the frame does not cover the state name on my plate which is good because we have a law here that says a frame cannot obscure the state name.

not great for the S550, too tall and the curve of the rear end of my 2017 Mustang makes the frame stick out a bit from the bumper. VERY well made though, great quality.
