Fits my octo mouthpiece perfectly with a little effort. Also provides a good amount of resistance to pulling off the octo, which will keep it where it is supposed to be until it is needed.

This is difficult to attach out of water, getting the mouthpiece wedged around it and somehow it still managed to come loose in the water. My dive buddy noticed it. Couldn’t get it reattached during the dive. Buying this was a mistake. I’m going back with old style rubber ring clip you put the mouthpiece through.

I recently purchased a regulator holder for scuba diving and have been very satisfied with the product. It keeps my regulator safe from foreign objects and gives me peace of mind before diving. I haven't had much luck in the area of octo holders, but I have higher hopes here. The construction is strong and grip onto the octo is great. I haven't tried it in the water yet, but I suspect it will hold tight. Getting it free is a good tug away.

The quality of this octo holder is good. I have ScubaPro R095 octo and it fits perfectly, holds the octo firmly in place. However, I got the stock octo holder from Scubapro and ended up not needing this one, but otherwise I'm sure I would happy with this octo holder.

Best Octopus holder around keeps the mouth piece from debris and secure and when jumping in does not make oct. free flow like somne other Oct. holders. I have used mine for two years and my husband finally said to order him one because he tired of having his free flow when jumping in.

Thought I would check this out and should have just stuck with my Trident RP45 and RP46 Octo holders. While the mouthpiece on my Sherwood Minimus fits securely in this holder, it is a bit difficult to get it fully connected as intended by the holder. I then tested the release aspect of it and fully agree with other reviews I now read stating that it is quite difficult to remove from this holder. The bite wings on the mouth piece are locked into the grooves and I imaging ripping the mouthpiece before removing it from the holder, especially in an out of air situation. Don't buy this unless you want a panicked diver ripping your reg apart trying to get your octo, then ripping the 2nd stage from your mouth letting you figure out how to get the darn octo out of the holder! PADI Divemaster with over 1,000 dives.

Fit my spare air mouth piece without any issue. I did make sure that my people who I went scuba diving with knew how to use it incase of an emergency. Not that difficult to put on, it would not fit a custom mouth piece.

I've used the manta neck octo, made my own necklaces for spare regs, I also have a lot of BCD's for travel, doubles, family gear, got one of these for each of the warm water setup's and as long as you can keep the second stage at a good working point this holds it decent
