Worked great for 1 dive. Next time I used it, it didn't work. Checked the battery, which was fully charged. Something it the LED or the switch failed. It was cheap enough that it was worth a try, but save your money....

For the money this is an excellent daily flashlight for scuba diving. It was bright and easy to use underwater and the beam cut just enough that it was not reflecting back at me. I appeciate the double seals and the rechargable batteries.

Bought this guy for grins, I normally run BB, kraken or DGX lights as backup cave lights. This light is as bright as any other 1000-1200 lumen although it only wants to run on high for 60min before shutting off, will run for another 40 min but only on medium…my own 3500 mah protected cells do not change this. All in all a good light but there is better out there for 20-30 more bucks like kraken dgx or orca.

I’ve wanted to pick up one of these lights since I dove with a guide in Aruba who was using one. I was using an Underwater Kinetics SL3, which is much more bulky and nowhere near as bright (and more expensive). Finally got this and did a little testing. On high, with the included battery, I only got about 10 minutes before the charge indicator light went from blue to green, and a total run time of 1:07. It automatically shuts off at a certain point instead of just getting dimmer and dimmer, so you can turn it back on and get some light out of it after this. On half power (still 600 lumens, brighter than my old light) it ran for 2 hours, 45 minutes - great run time! It’s very lightweight, and I like the fact that you don’t have to cycle through the brightness settings to turn it off - just a “long” (1.5 second) press. Also like the emergency flash feature. I don’t know that I’d use this as a primary on a wreck penetration dive or a night dive, but for a “looking under ledges and into holes” light for daytime dives, or as a back-up light, it’s a great option. Can’t beat it for the cost!

I received the light super fast with Amazon prime free shipping. The light appears to be quality made. I think it will work perfect as a backup light. It is bright and the angle is about 15 degrees. It says it is 6000 K warm and it is about right. Someone mentioned that there was no instructions, but mine came well packaged with instructions included. There is a 2 year manufacture warranty included which was a pleasant surprise. The light works perfectly above the water, can not wait to take it on a dive trip in a few weeks. BTW, two spare o-rings, a charger and a wrist strap were also included in a package. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase. Will post an update after taking it on the next dive.

The beam is nice...not too narrow, but narrow enough for signaling. Lots of Lumens! The light is quite small. The only possible disadvantage is the long press (1.5s) needed to turn it on....that can seem like forever if you just want to take a quick look under a ledge while swimming by. it has a very nice emergency mode with a slow strobe, a fast strobe, and an SOS signal; unlike some lights, you can skip the emergency mode in normal use. Some lights cycle through the emergency mode as you change brightness. When it arrive, I needed to scrape the sticky washer off the battery positive terminal so the light would work and would charge.

I just received this light a couple days ago [Prime - handy as always and prompt (finally, again)] and have been playing with it topside. So far I am very pleased!First - I have a couple of observations that may be tripping-up folks who are having issues: 1) You need to open the light and remove the adhesive cap battery protector. Then THOROUGHLY clean off any residue from the battery terminal. The adhesive is tenacious stuff and may even retain some of the protector material. 2) Turning the light On and Off requires a LONG press (1.5 sec.) of the button.Impressions:I believe that this is the best dive-light user interface that I have run across so far ... - Long press on and long press off make unintentional operation unlikely. - In a dive, I frequently change levels and the short press is fine - it is non-critical if there is an accidental level change, but I love that it keeps cycling levels without going off. - The very long press for SOS is perfect. I think it is great that it has the capability if required but frequency of usage approaches 0 and I don't want it in the normal usage rotations. It a complete ready to use light system (light, 3300mAh-18650 battery, charger, lanyard and spare o-rings) at a good price - no need for hysterics if it gets sacrificed to Poseidon/Neptune.The Blue, Green, Red battery-status indicator is a big plus, especially at this price level. I'd personally prefer stoplight colors Green, Yellow Red, but the Blue, Green, Red is used by major light manufacturers at 10x the price. It is light and compact - about 2/3 the volume and weight of my previous 18650 light, 1/2 the price, with comparable (to the eye) output, and a slightly wider, more uniform beam.I think this is going to be a great light for clear-water and backup use. A tighter beam is probably better for really murky conditions. One of these may also find its way in to my Lost-at-Sea kit since it is so compact and has the SOS function, which I expect will be more noticeable (due to the "flash") and have very long runtimes with the short duty-cycle.I will update after I get some non-trivial dives on it.
