Instructions for use roller
In one direction
Roll the lint remover in one direction only for optimal results. If you move it back and forth, the collected hair may fall out.

When you need to clean the contact surface, rotate the rubber of the roller from one end to the other. This will allow the roller to clean itself automatically and store the collected hair in its compartment.

I like the dog brush since it is easy to clean and brush my dogs with. The hand brush that you can wrap around your hand and can give your dog or cat a bath with is nice. But the Lint Roller is a Joke! It's hard to roll back and forth and it does pick up some but it actually makes more of a mess than picking up lint or hair. There is a button that you push to open to clean the lint and hair out . When holding the handle on the lint roller the button is in the way so when holding the roller it's very easy to accidently press it causing a bigger mess with everything falling out. I hate this lint roller.
