This is a 5 star part except for one very important thing - it does not fit a BXA tool post. I'm not sure how people are giving this such a high mark. I've ordered three of these XL tool posts from Shars and one of their normal 250-202 tool posts and not a single one of them fit my BXA tool post. I have a very old tool post so I thought maybe it was my tool post that was the problem. I made these fit by filing on the inside of the dovetails for 30 minutes each. And I'm talking some aggressive filing. I decided to order another company's BXA tool holder and it dropped on my tool post without even a hint of a snag so it is definitely these Shars tool holders. As best I can tell, the dovetails are improperly ground and need maybe another .040" of clearance. That doesn't sound like much but they are also very hard and so you need to file on them a lot to get that off so they will fit.
