This is an extremely niche item. It only has one purpose and that function can only be used for very specific Harley-Davidson motorcycle models and years, but if you need it, it is indispensable. At around 50,000 miles, my bike developed a super annoying rattle from the shift lever shaft. With time, the two metal bushings inside the shaft wear out and loosen up to the point where it starts making lots of noise. There are other methods you can use to get the old bushings out (usually involving finding a socket that is exactly the correct diameter and length and then beating it to death with a hammer) but getting the new ones pressed in is a different story. This tool comes with two parts, one is exactly the right size and length to push out the old bushings and the other is used to accurately and precisely simultaneously press in the new bushings. It makes the job super easy and quick. If you are a DIY sort of person for these types of simple repairs, that Harley would charge you an arm and a leg for, then this tool is a great investment. It's not something that you will probably use very often, but if you have buddies that ride similar bikes it might come in handy for them as well.

Took about 20 minutes to remove and install the new bushings. Lot cheaper to do it yourself than have a dealer do it for you. No instructions but there's plenty of U tube how to videos if your a first timer. Makes everything nice and tight .No more rattling or wobbling.

Tool was just as advertised. I had the old bushings out in five minutes and five more minutes the new bushings were installed.

This is a good tool to have, works good and is easy to use. Put the description is not was it said. I did not get a set of new bushings with mine and the tools were not wrapped up and just clanking around in the box.
