I purchased this microphone directly from the vendor’s website— really terrible quality. Sounds like you’re under water, and your regular iphone mic is so much better. I reached out to them and they asked me to share videos showing the sound issue, which is really obvious. But they said there was no issue there. Definitely this product isn’t worth your time, but I’ve been impressed by their other accessories!
