Holy cow do these brakes work great, I had some older sram brakes and these are night and day how much better my bike feels. I would highly recommend these for anyone looking for budget brakes that don't feel budget.

Add says it comes with brake lever and pre bled hose, it did not come with either. Only the caliper showed up.

Used these to replace some old Formula brakes and really like them. Great value for the cost. Get a tool to cut the hydraulic lines so you don't have excess cable.

Only the caliper arrived - nothing else. Others indicated the same for them. Returning. Strongly suggest avoiding

This disk brake combo works really well and was very easy to install. Make sure you use the right adapter for the brake disk if you are changing rotor size to a larger one. I had gotten an off brand adapter for 180mm rotors and the pads contacted in the wrong place diminishing braking. The shimano adapter cured that problem. I used Teyssor rotors and they work very well. A bleeding kit may be necessary to get any sponginess out of the lever pull if needed. I had converted from rim brakes with koolstop pads. That rim brake setup was almost just as good as using disk brakes. This set up did come with metal pads. I get no squealing with it and it stops really well.

These are excellent brakes, but… I bought this to replace a failed left brake not realizing that it would be incompatible with my Shimano shifters. This lever is I-Spec EV, and my other brake lever was I-Spec II. The clamp on the EV is positioned near the middle of the body, which caused the body area to interfere with my shift levers. The clamp on the I-Spec II’s is positioned closer to the pivot point of the lever. There aren’t many I-Spec II high-end shimano brakes available anymore.

I bulit up 2 different bikes and they both had old out dated cable brakes. For this being my first time installing hydraulic brakes I was nervous but after watching a few YouTube videos It was very simple and I didn’t need to bleed any of the brakes I installed all 4 where ready right out of the box just cut the line tap in the barb and tighten the hose and your done! They have great power on 160mm rotors I went with the fined brake pads shimano sells and that’s a major upgrade to the stock pads but besides that the kit has everything you may need bolts barbs rubber boot. Very nice set of brakes

The bleed screw threads literally stripped out after installing and bleeding before any use. I’ve built bikes and didn’t have any significant amount of torque on the screw. Thankfully I was refunded, but bummer on the quality.

Easy to install. They aren't exactly one- finger, stop on a dime good but I have been happy with Shimano Deore stuff for years.

Shimano Deore M6100 that replaced Shimano MT200 was a nice upgrade. There was nothing wrong with the MT200 it worked fine but you couldn't really control the brakes due to lack of modulation. It is easy to lock the brakes. The Shimano Deore M6100 have better control of the braking power. I also like grey metallic finish look way better than the dull semi-gloss finish of the MT200.
