Your cart is empty. The new Shimano J05A-RF Resin Disc Brake Pad is designed to be quieter and more durable than Shimano's previous generations of brake pads for their 2-piston trail brakes. The new resin material gives us high-performance brake modulation for navigating tricky descents, while the finned alloy backer plate directs heat out and away from the brakes so that our brakes don't fade on long downhills.

Stops well, and wears well. Improved compound is quieter.

My experience is Resin pads stay more quiet not squeel when wet/contaminated like metal brake pads do.

Irgend was wird's wohl bringen. :-)

Super easy to install. No more squealing!Be sure to bed them in carefully: pedal up to 10 miles per hour, then brake gently on only *one* lever with gradually increasing force., but don't completely stop. Works best going slightly downhill (easier!). Do this five to ten times each for the front and rear brake.Easy to find install videos/instructions online.

I love to ride fast, but need to slow things down sometimes. Resin pads do that quietly and don't wear the brake rotors. These are at a great price point for genuine Shimano finned pads. Resin doesn't last quite as long as metal pads, but the run quiet where metal tends to honk when wet. This is an example of a product developed for the e bike world that is a benefit for regular human powered MTB'rs.

El producto es Shimano original, el problema es que la descripción del producto dice J05A y en realidad me enviaron J03A para que lo tomes en cuenta, ya no devolvió porque necesitaba los frenos, pero si te queda esa sensación que no te dan lo que compras.

Replaced the stock metal pads on my shimano SLX brakes. Resin are generally quieter and work better in hot and dry climates. Make sure to watch a video or two on replacing them. These came with a cotter pin, however my brakes use a long screw to ensure the pads stay in place. These did not come with that style of screw in pin, so make sure you do not toss it. Watch/read on how to bed these in, you need to use them 10-12 times at medium speed to put some of the resin onto the brake rotor. If you are replacing stock metal pads, you also need to clean the rotors and buff them with sandpaper. Use youtube to find instructions on how to do that.
