I purchased this mask in the full size for my daughter’s 16h Paint Horse. It fits him perfectly. It is elasticized over the poll, has fleece inside along the browband area for comfort, and the extension down the nose helps keeps the bugs at bay! Also, the mesh over the eyes is stiff so it doesn’t touch his eyes. By far my favorite mask … I use the same style for my horse also.

Bello likes to pull of his stretchy masks but he loves this one and hasn’t taken it off. Only issue is it runs large. Which is great for me because he has an oversized head but this is a full and it fits his big head like a glove. Very soft and comfy for my big guy. ❤️❤️

Great price. Durable. Fits my Quarter Horse great. UV protection. Easy to clean (hose off)Rubs a little on the area where all masks seem to rub(he’s a hard fit) so I’m not surprised. Wide strong Velcro help other horses from pulling it off. Elastic around the mask to help keep the smallest of flying insects out. Covers his nose nicely. I’m very happy with it. So is my horse! He walks up to me and puts his head down!

This is by far the fanciest fly mask I’ve ever bought for my horse. It’s made of strong UV material to protect eyes and nose from flies and the sun. The material is very fine mesh which allows him to easily see. There is fleece padding on the inside where it sits on my horse’s forehead to help keep the shape. The mask appears to be very breathable as he shows no signs of sweat marks like some other fly masks. There is also fleece lining and elastic on the outer part of the mask which contours to his face keeping any flies from getting into the mask. The nose piece is a little long, even for a full size but nonetheless still keeps flies away from his nostrils and mouth. There is not a hole in the front for his forelock as some other fly masks have but that was not a deal breaker for me. I was only looking for some sort of UV protection that was comfy and breathable for those hot, humid days. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

I love the shires fly masks. I have been buying them for my mare for years and the full size always fits her so well and gives her eyes plenty of room. I decided to buy the full size with a nose, and like usual, it fits great! BUT the nose cover is very, very long. I ended up folding it up in a breakaway halter though and she seemed to sport it happily after a few sniffles.

My QH mare has a wider face and I have a difficult time finding masks that are wide enough to not touch her eyes. This has the best eye clearance out of any that we’ve ever tried! It also has the ear coverage and nose coverage that she needs to prevent sunburning. Absolutely love this mask. My only regret is not finding it sooner! Very good quality and love the double strap. Fits true to size.

I bought this fly mask because my horse lost the other one but this one is working great, he put his head right down for me to put it on. It does a great job of keeping flies away and I like that I can see his face through it. Only downfall is that the nose part is a bit long.

This came very promptly, which I was pleased about, as it was needed urgently. It's a good fit (NB my horses are Arabs but take a cob size in Shires masks, Arab owners to note) and seems comfortable. Good for horses with pink noses as it has a nose shield. This is the second Shires mask I've bought and I've been pleased with both. It was a good price too for a substantial item.

Softer than the Cashtel Crusaders that I had.My QH is 51-1 hands and normal size head. The Cob size fits perfectly.This will be our go-to fly mask from now on.Quality, comfort, sharp looking.

Das ist das erste Mal, das wir Masken gekauft haben, die tatsächlich einwandfrei in der Größe xfull passen !!!! Wir hatten schon so viele und nichts davon war tatsächlich xfull !!!! Auch hatten wir immer Probleme damit, das die Ohren viel zu kurz waren. Die Ohren sind zwar bei diesen Masken auch nicht optimal, aber immer noch besser als bei allen bisherigen. Ansonsten sind sie absolut top !!!!!! Sitzen locker und trotzdem kann keine Fliege hinein. Der Schnitt gibt den Augen optimale Freiheit. Und schaut man selbst durch die Maske, ist der Blick super klar. Ich kann diese Masken auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen !!!!!
