It’s sturdy and easy to build. It’s bigger than I expected which is great. I’m using it for my shirts and pants and it fits a lot of clothes which I’m happy about. As for shoes I’m sure it fits two pairs of sneakers on each section. Love this product very versatile and the doors are probably my favorite part for easy access.

The shoe rack was originally for an adult but it worked amazing for my daughter instead. Her shoes are all organized and look great (can fit atleast 5 pairs in each compartment) it is easy to assemble and worth every dollar. My daughter has access to all her shoes and so much easier for her to choose her daily wear👍 the shoes fit great.

I purchased this over the door shoe rack for my entry way closet to fix the heaping pile of shoes on the floor. I already have a 4 shelf shoe rack on the floor, but with 5 family members, there isn’t enough space to hold all our shoes.Easy to assemble! Took me about 30 minutes with my 3 year old distracting me. Everything you need to assemble this comes in the box all labeled in little bags, and a small allen wrench. Instructions are easy to follow. If you choose to mount it versus hanging it over the door, it does come with dry wall anchors and screws. I have six panel doors and it works just fine, even though one side sits inside the panel and the other side is just outside of it. But like I said still sits flush and seems sturdy. I have winter coats in the closet and it holds well. It will hold two pairs of men’s shoes (size 12) on one rack, and about 3 of my size 8 women’s shoes. Also holds my toddlers size 8-9 shoes (4-6 pairs stacked on top of each other). Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. Does the job!!!

Perfect!I bought a second set just so I can have three of these hanging on one door, since there is plenty of room. Initially, I had an over the door clothing hanging rack above and the shoes below, which also fit perfectly. The hanging rack banged around a bit, so I cut a Nerf bullet and squeezed it between the hardware and the door which kept it snug as well as protected the paint from scraping off. The extra segment is in my daughter's room.Leave at least one horizontal bar out at the top or bottom to accomodate boots.Hanging bracket not wide enough to fit over front door in either home I tried. Instead, I bought hollow door anchors thinking I would use those to screw into place, but it turns out I just screwed it directly into the door just fine. If worried about leaving scuff marks, just put a little painter's tape where the hardware touches the door. When removing it, just fill the hole and touch up with a spot of matching paint. The hanging brackets bend easily and conveniently to go flat against the door, so I just screw through holes already existing in the brackets.Little feet screw into the top and bottom, and a connector cap goes in the middle. I placed the bottom set of feet through a large paperclip that pokes out the side, then used a screw and washer (though screw alone would have been fine) to keep it from banging or otherwise bouncing about and weakening the hold of the screws at the top.I bought dark gray Gorilla brand over the door mesh pocket shoe storage as well, and the mesh allows little debris to fall through. I carefully cut between the seams to remove two single columns of pockets, and used cable zip ties to attach these to each side edge of the Type A door rack. When I lengthened the rack by adding another segment, I just attached more pockets beneath. Now we have pockets to stuff toddler shoes and socks, gloves, keys and wallet, dog leash, jump rope, sidewalk chalk, etc right at the front door.I also got a couple of coat hooks that have the two little hooks that extend out angled away from each other. I put a sliver of really sticky, thick double sided tape on the horizontal bar, pressed the hook into place, then used cable zip ties to firmly attach to the bar. Now we have a couple of coat hooks which we sometimes use and sometimes don't but we're glad they're available. When assembling:• Be sure to check the L-shaped ends so that the ones that take the screw-on feet are left for the top and bottom while the hollow ones use the double cap connector in the center.• Be sure to set it up so that the higher bar is in the back, away from the door, and the lower bar is in the front, nearest the door.• Recommend first attaching feet to four vertical side bars as appropriate (and recommend placing bolt through a paperclip that extends past one set of feet in order to better secure it to door using a screw through the paperclip); second attaching one footed vertical side bar to one hollow opening vertical side bar until all four sides are completed; third placing all eight horizontal bars in between the vertical side bars for one set and hand tightening the hardware; fourth using the hex wrench or a hex bit and a drill on lower speed to tighten all bars; fifth connecting the next set of vertical side bars in the same manner as in the fourth step; then sixth connecting the two completed sections with the double connector cap.

This is a really nifty shoe rack. It was pretty easy to assemble myself. It's not the best quality parts but it's pretty sturdy and certainly holds all the shoes that I need it to! I even have a little room left but I plan on rectifying that situation by buying more shoes. Obviously, I don't own enough. The only negative comments I have are as follows: It's pretty wide - it takes up my entire closet door, and deep, so it sticks out far into my closet. If you have a shallow closet with shelving, as I do, this can prevent the closet door from closing completely, because the rack is blocked by clothing on hangers and/or shelves. I am fine with the door closing most of the way. On occasion, someone will attempt to close the door all the way and within 24 hours of that, one piece of the shoe rack will disconnect from the other and I will hear most of the shoes from the bottom section tumble down. It's VERY easy to fix; it takes one second to reconnect, and to replace the shoes maybe another minute or so. For me it's worth the trouble. I'm quite happy with this product, for the price.
