It looks nice, just had trouble twisting it to install it securely as it is adjustable. The way the pieces twist together is the same direction needed to twist to extend and fit the space.

Feels solid, but time will tell how it holds up corrosion wise. Some assembly required, but it was very easy to put together. To install it you turn the inner/outer rod pieces to a little longer than the width of the shower area, then compress it into place, and it will be held in place by the pressure exerted by the internal spring. Other than that, looks good, I'm happy with the product.Value: At $19 at the time of review, this is a good deal.

This looks a lot more impressive than expected, but is easy to install/mount and stays put! Exactly as one would hope and easy to adjust if you get a different curtain or move, etc.

The finish and the overall product looked very nice. It was easy to assemble and install. So far it has performed as expected being very solid and holding up the curtain. My reason for four stars is I want to see how durable it is over the next six months or so. I will reevaluate then for a fifth star. It was under $20 which I think was a good deal and it fit my shower fine.

I ordered this 69.5”-90.5” curtain rod in the color “Matte Black” on which to hang a gray curtain on my screened patio. A tension rod was needed for this space, which is 70 inches across, since it’s not a good idea to drill any holes in this location for a hard-mounted curtain rod. It was also important for me to have a waterproof rod, since it’s so humid here in Florida and since violent thunderstorms can blow lots of rainwater onto my patio.The finish of this rod looks nice and black with no paint flecking or scratches, and it feels perfectly smooth with no burring. It also fits perfectly where I needed it to fit. So far, it does hold securely, though I’m curious to see what it will do during a severe thunderstorm and even a hurricane. Currently, it holds up my average-weight curtain with no problem.Note that assembly is required. Each of the various parts are in baggies that have stickers on them labeling them with a letter that corresponds to the instructions. One mistake I found here was that there were several longer rods labeled as ‘D’ and one shorter rod meant to be part ‘E’ but also labeled as ‘D’ like the others. Though within the ‘D’-labeled bag, it was tucked into its own cardboard sleeve, differentiating it in that way besides it being an obviously different length. Also, one end cap has a screw-in screw, but it doesn’t say to screw it in the instructions; it just says to push down. Meanwhile, the other end has a screw end as well, but the part meant to connect to it doesn’t have screw threads, being just a wide open tube that easily falls right off.Altering the length of this rod is a matter of picking how many rod pieces to attach together for greater measurement variability, followed by twisting one end to lengthen or shorten it only slightly during final adjustments.
