I bought this holder despite some negative reviews and I couldn't be more pleased. The holder comes with two inserts, one for 25mm bars and one for 23mm bars. I have a 23mm bar and the fit is perfect. Additionally, the unit is supplied with two small, self-adhesive rubber pads in the event your bar size is non-standard. Not needed in my case. I have a heavy shower head and the unit holds tight where I place it.I give this 5 stars, but a few small changes would be nice: 1. If this were made of metal, I'd gladly have paid double. 2. The knob on the tightening cap could be a little bigger for soapy hands. 3. The instructions could be a little clearer and more detailed.All-in-all, I am very happy and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

This extended the life of my shower bar, and should last another 5-10 years. This works really well. I waited about 6 months before posting the review, but this is holding up well in a house of 6 people. It gets adjusted on a daily basis and it's holding up well. Pay close attention to sizes when ordering, but for my shower bar it was a perfect fit. It holds a large shower head without sagging.

Just installed a new slide bar for the shower, allowing for better adjustment of the hand-held shower head height.One of the benefits of this new slide bar is that there is plenty room to install extra shower head holder(s). To set more usable heights for the "shorter" people needing the shower. :-)This holder fit the purpose perfectly. Now we can simply move the shower head to whatever holder is most comfortable for the person.Installed in about 1 minute by sliding it directly onto the loosened slide bar.Recommended.
