Look good, great material, sound is very good. This mic is only about $100 more than the older version, but the sound is so much better and the signal box is metal instead of plastic.

Simplemente amo cantar con este micro, no hay un modelo de shure que me guste más hasta ahora, ya tenía el alámbrico y me fascinaba, ahora este inalámbrico me tiene enamorado, hasta siento que se oye con más cuerpo que el de cable, todo súper!!!

It pairs automatically, has a battery level indicator for the rechargeble battery which lasts easily up to 16 hours. The sound quality is better than our wired microphones. I couldn`t be happier. I plan on buying more.

Excellent Handheld Mic Transmitter / Receiver Combo. So glad to see that Shure decided to pair SM86 with the GLXD Receiver. SM86 being Cardoid Condensor, it is a crisp, clean Mic compared to the SM58. I was abosulutely amazed at the details of voice of a Male Singer. For us any new purchase of the GLXD Series Handheld pair will be this.It has a durable looking but plastic body, so for applications where I need a high durability, I may still go wtih the SM58.
