Siemens 60 Amp, outdoor rated, non-automatic switch air conditioner disconnect is a two pole 120/240V rated pullout used as a disconnecting means for electrical equipment. This AC disconnect has a sliding switch as opposed to a pull out, eliminating the possibility of loss of the pullout.

This was an Amazon opened box item and came repackaged for less than half the price. It is in perfect condition and does not appear to have been used at all. I will be buying a mini split air conditioner/heat pump and this will go with it perfectly.

I got this box for my Mini Split install. I see some questions on here on how to wire it in for 110v so here is what I did.20amp breaker and 12-2 wire coming into the box. 12-2 wire going back out. Attach both grounds to the block and wire nut the neutrals together. Take your power source live wire and put it far left or far right (the outside terminals). Then your device live wire goes next to it on the inside terminal. Ignore the other half of the terminal block.

I used mine as a disconnect for a new sauna installation. Knockouts were well positioned and there was plenty of space to route and hookup the wiring to the switch. The integrated wire nuts held my #10 AWG wires very well. very happy.Only downside was that the edges are a bit sharp (stamped metal). While pulling the wire, it hit a snag and when it came free, I scrapped up the back of my hand. I really should have been wearing leather gloves :) Totally my fault. Just a heads up for others to learn from my mistake!

There are markings on the unit - 'line' and 'load'. Installer needs to understand the meaning of these terms for installation as there are no instructions. When in doubt, search in Youtube on how to.

This product does what it is intended to do. If you don't understand how to read the wiring diagram you should not be attempting to install this product yourself. People who reviewed and said it was unsafe or incorrect wiring do not understand the proper wiring of this device. You can use this for 120 volt application, you would only need to use one side of this switch. This is a double pole switch...if you don't know what that means... get an electrician to install it for you.

I installed an RV outlet on the side of my house and needed a heavy-duty on/off switch for it. I could have bought an integrated unit that contained the RV outlet, on/off switch and circuit breaker, but those are very expensive. Instead I paired this with the RV outlet and together they cost half as much as an integrated unit. Yes, this item is meant to be an AC cutoff switch, but it works just as well for the RV outlet.

High quality Siemens box. It was exactly what I needed for a replacement HVAC disconnect. The price was right (considerably less than what the local big box stores were asking for the identical item) ... and prompt delivery too.
