I recently purchased the Silicone Charge Air Cooler Hump Hose Kit for my Class 8 Truck and I'm extremely impressed! The 4" x 6" heavy-duty intercooler hoses and T-bolt clamps are top-notch quality and have greatly improved my truck's performance. The silicone construction is durable and resistant to heat, cracking, and fading. The kit was easy to install and the blue color gives my truck a nice, stylish touch. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their semi-truck's charge air cooler system. The improved airflow and cooling performance are noticeable and make a big difference in my truck's overall performance. Great product, great price!

To be honest, a lot of people buy things on Amazon meaning to use them for other things than their original purpose. These were manufactured for an intercooler on a turbocharged 18-wheeler.I saw them and immediately thought that they might be suitable for my Jeep snorkel system.I knew that they had a 4” inside diameter and were 6” long (actually 6-3/16”) which was ideal for my application. They are spring steel wrapped to prevent swelling under high pressure, no big deal for me.The only worry I had was implosion. Sounds weird but I have a heavily modified Dodge Demon with over 1200 rear wheel horsepower under the hood sucking air through two 4” snorkels which can suck in the sides of a 4” silicone hose. These hoses have multiple plies (4?) in their construction and the walls are over 0.200 thick. Amazing! Where the spring steel is on the outside there are humps to make sure that nothing slips. I think that I may be able to remove the 3 rings and force them down the inside to further reduce the likelihood of implosion. Each end of the interior of these hoses has a double ring to prevent slippage. In addition to all of this, there are 4 stainless steel T-bolt clamps provided.Sometimes you do strike gold!
