ABOUT US
Today, Silver Lining Herbs is a world leader in natural herbal support for horses, dogs, and humans, with tremendous sales growth as word has spread of the effectiveness of Silver Lining Herbs. Yet, it remains a family-owned company, with a passion for helping people take optimal care of their animals for both health and performance.
This ethos has its roots with Lavern Young, father of Silver Lining founder Mickey Young. A cattle rancher and range rider for the Bureau of Land Management for over 20 years, Lavern grew up in close proximity to the Navajo Indians, from whom he learned a great deal about medicinal herbs and their beneficial uses for both human and animal. All of these life experiences came together to form a commitment to seeking health naturally, a commitment shared by his wife Ruth Young, who became an herbalist in her own right, respected throughout the community for the quality of the herbs and advice found at her store.

They are not live cultures. Live cultures gve the most benefit to horses and humans, they require refrigeration. If the product doesn't require that then look elsewhere for a better solution. I learned this one viral infection too late and a few 100 dollars worth down the drain. I am sure their other products are good, but misleading in the probiotic department and very expensive for a product that doesn't do what it is designed to do. I used this product after deworming, as suggested. It didn't help build his gut flora back up nor help his immune system fight a viral infection soon after.

This product helps with my dogs stool being more solid. I rarely ever see my dog have lose stools when he goes Potty outside. Also I give my dog about 1/2 teaspoon a day in his food. Seems to be about the right amount for a dog that weighs over 100 pounds.
