J’avais un problème insoluble… à moins de dépenser gros… des plinthes électriques sous des tableaux de valeur… comment éviter que l’œuvre se dessèche par une chaleur trop directe… je n’ai pas trouvé de solution avec les déflecteurs en plastique; la moitié fondent… les briques réfractaires sont la solution trouvée: installées directement sur la plinthe électrique, elles détournent le flux d’air chaud du mur et le mur sous le tableau est nettement plus frais… comparable à la température que l’on retrouve sous les tableaux qui n’ont pas de plinthes électriques dessous… l’article comme tel, très bien emballé, était parfait… (voir les photos)

The packaging is vastly superior to several others I have seen in the past, You will NOT be receiving broken bricks This I can Assure you. The ONLY issue I have with these bricks is the price, I thought I had ordered the 16 brick set and that was why the cost was so high but upon realization that I had in fact only ordered 12, I was fairly Annoyed as we can find Bricks with higher ratings for nearly half the price (Pd.$120 at time of writing)

I read the entire description on this item & thought it would work perfectly. Boy, was I wrong!? When changing my fire bricks out, it was no easy feat as I have a shell around my wood stove so removing it was a pain. After that, installation wasn't horrible but they've only been in my stove with a fire for 2 months total. I noticed after the first month, 1 in the back already cracked but thought ok maybe that was on me but then a day or so later 1 in the front was cracked, since then I've noticed another 1 cracked in the back & I know it's not on me cause since I just put them in & knowing what a pain it was, I've been extra cautious. These clearly DO NOT withstand the kinda heat a wood stove puts out. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Quality fire bricks, and very well packaged in a styrofoam container with separate slots for each brick. So no cracks or fractures in shipping. Arrived the next day in perfect condition!

Each brick is sandwiched between layers of soft foam, with more soft foam on top and bottom. Getting the first brick out without damaging anything is a little tricky (lay the box on it's side on a workbench), but once you get one out the rest are easy.The quality of the bricks themselves is good. They're consistently sized, within less than 1/8" of each other. They insulate very nicely, with a layer of matrikote on the flame sided faces my travel forge can get up to forge welding temps even in a gusty field.

Purchased this as a replacement fire brick for my wood burning fireplace. The pieces were just as described and since they were so easy to cut I got a nice snug fit.After having several fires in the fireplace I noticed that it seems to be holding the heat better.If you need to replace the fire brick in your fireplace or stove I would suggest this product.

I was extremely impressed on how they were packaged. I was anticipating to have some bricks to be broken in shipping. However each fire brick had its own styrofoam sleeve around then. Outstanding packaging !
