I didn’t have a great experience with this. It was very filmsy plastic and it leaked from the collar. I wouldn’t recommend for installing this drain somewhere important. I just don’t think it’ll hold up long term.

So I took this out of the packaging with the full intent to install it, until I assessed the reason I got this in the first place. I ordered this to replace a P-trap that had gotten clogged. With what clogged our drain, this would have been a massive downgrade. It is just too risky to use at the intended install location.The material is a little on the thin side as well, but I just don't like the design if clogging is my concern. I'm not saying it can't work, I'm just concerned about how easily debris can get trapped to the point of a clog. This may or may not be able to fix your clogged drain, is all I'm saying. You may feel differently, but I couldn't risk it.

Had a irregular setup under the sink and this did the job easy to arrange and all the seals too,no leaks,able to adjust where it was needed.

I wanted to try this flexible P-Trap to address an issue I had with a utility sink. For whatever reason, I could not get inflexible P-Trap to work without a few drops of leakage. This flexible drain did the trick. Just 2 connections were necessary to connect the sink to the below grade pump in my basement. The kit includes a bracket that helps hold a proper P-Trap shape. The photos show my installation and the extra adapter parts I didn't need.Of course, the downside of this kind of tubing is its more likely to get clogged. A washing machine dumps into this utility sink, and I use a fine screen at the drain to reduce the frequency of cleaning out the pump screen, so I don't expect to have any clogging issues, but it is something to consider.
