functionality is good if handle would secure to peel. Screws included aren't long enough and don't thread into adjoining holes

This is our first "pizza peel" (or "pizza slider") - with many cooks in our family kitchen, hopefully it will add an extra measure of safety to the pizza cooking process! It's designed, of course, to put the pizza in the oven without getting your hand(s) burned.Assembly is straightforward - the "peel" is already assembled onto the "paddle", so the only thing to assemble is the handle - just use the three included screws to attach the handle and you're done! There is also an extra "peel" included, which is a nice bonus. The shortcomings are few, but... I had to get my first one replaced because the "included" screws were not included. :-( The screws come in a small plastic bag that probably just fell out of the loosely assembled product box. Secondly, the small "nuts" in the handle were not properly seated, and I was worried I would break the handle trying to get them to fit properly. Finally, the installed "peel" has a crease in it (no doubt from staying in one position for an extended period) that makes the slider "catch" at that point - installing the spare would solve it, but perhaps the manufacturer should leave them BOTH uninstalled to prevent creasing.Overall, a good buy - but quality control could be better!

well I'm not sure if this product is a device looking for a problem or not. Mind you it works fine for putting a pie in the oven but taking it out and getting it under the edge can be tricky. Also the material has questionable longevity even though they give you an extra sheet.Personally I think a thin metal peel is the best. A little corn meal and it slides right in and comes out just as easy. But if you like to try something new it's not expensive. Also it's bare wood so if you get sauce or topping on it cleaning could be a challenge if that's important to you.

My Gluten free pizza dough can be tricky. This works as advertised. My husband wishes the there was a way to keep his fingers away from the hot pizza oven but you can't really avoid that. The pizza cutter was a much used bonus item.

I think we would love this except it came without a critical piece so it can’t be used!

Assembly is "Iffy". The middle screw does not reach all the way to the nut on the other side. For the other 2 screws, the nut is supposed to "grab on" to the wood and stay put -- they don't. So when you turn the screw to fasten to the nut, the nut turns with the screw making it not possible to tighten or loosen to the right amount or take apart altogether. This makes the "with Bamboo Handle Detachable" part of it difficult.Good selection of extra items: pizza cutter, replacement non-stick sheet... The "Replacement Cloth, 22inch x 13inch" is actually a white carry case.

Best thing for making pizza from scratch. The dough barely sticks and is easy to clean. Love that it comes with an extra slider.
