We have very hard water and our faucet spout needs to be changed every few years because of the mineral build-up.This is the one that matches our faucet in the upstairs bathroom. Ours is the brushed chrome finish.It was easy to switch out. We removed the old one, first, using a large pipe wrench. Then, we lined up the new one, covering it with a heavy rag first to protect the finish from being scratched by the wrench. Then just turned the new one on. You may need some new teflon tape over the threaded water pipe but ours was still fine.The fit and finish looks just like the old one and no more water sneaking through the spout when the shower is engaged.Good value replacement spout.
