These 8-40 plugs perfectly fit my Marlin 336 scope mount screw holes. They were perfectly machined and matched the color of the receiver top as closely as could be expected. Blue loctite would be recommended to prevent bolt lockup.

Needed to plug off scope ring hole on an old rifle. Well made plugs, threads and flat slot cut nicely.

Well made dummie screws, works on mossberg 500 20ga tap holes, but like mentionned in other review they are a bit short in lengh. The one from mossberg are about double the lengh vs. these. A drip of blue locktight will keep them into place imo.

These screws fit the Mark IV 22/45 SSH. Though YOU MUST USE THREAD LOCKER, as there is no bottom to some of the optic mounting holes in the upper. If you screw them in too deep (or if they vibrate deeper), the bottom of the screw can rub on the bolt. They should sit flush with the top of the upper. You can remove the upper and bolt to make sure they aren't screwed in too deeply. Very happy with the quality of these screws overall (though they're a bit overpriced).
