I love these file folders because the sides are sealed and papers won’t fall out. I’m giving some to my young adult children so they can organize their documents. Recommend!

File jackets hold things that fall out of file folders and get lost. Have some Smead file jackets that are over 50 years old and still look as good as new. You have to stay with something that dependable.

We like these because they are sturdy and don't fall apart. The envelope style design means that papers other stuff you put in them don't fall out and get snagged in file drawers.

These are perfect for organizing and storing loose papers. I like the fact that because they are closed off on 3 ends, everything, regardless of size, is kept securely together. This allows me the option to forgo the hanging file folders and just place these upright in a box for easy access. The tab on top is plenty big for labels.Smead claims that the flat version can hold up to 50 pages. I have not counted how many pages max I've put into these, but I am inclined to believe that number is possible, depending on how thick your paper is, of course. There is a slight bulge when you fit in more pages, but it doesn't affect the function of these file jackets. The quality of these file jackets are excellent. The material feel durable, and I don't see quality control issues like loose glue or misaligned folds.

Great product. I keep student IEP’s and reports in the files. I enjoy them because if I drop them they do not fly every where. Plain look, looks less important than the actual paperwork inside the folder.

These folders are a great value for the money. I use them in my office for filing papers, and they come in extremely handy. They are heavy duty and don't break or rip. Highly recommend.

I've used many standard 'open folder' style folders, this 'envelope' style is sure a wonderful option for certain applications where one just doesn't want little slips of paper to fall out, or one doesn't want to reveal the entire folder contents at a meeting.Even, yes, accessing folder contents, outdoors, on a windy day, or to avoid getting bumped and dropping contents, the extra safety of the envelope style is worth it to me.I'll still use the 'open folder' style folders in many cases. But be sure that I will use this 'envelope' style more frequently.Good quality, nice "grab" access notch, plenty of room to add a label, or write your own label, good size.
