I ordered three and they came just like they looked. The first one installed easily and looks great as it burns in the lantern i our front yard. I'll now have more on hand for next year. By the way, eachc amne in a separate package, I suppose to give each separate padding.

I have an old gas light in front of my old house (circa 1818) and trying to find mantles to fit theseold gas lights is pretty well impossible. But lo and behold this one worked. I couldn't believe it.And now my gas light is working again! I am so pleased.

top side of the mantle burnt out moments after installing. I have been installing mantles in my lamps for many years. First time this happened! I did not touch the mantle when handling it. Luckily, I bought two and was ale to get it lit properly.
