I'm a pitching coach and give individual and group pitching lessons out of my shed. I bought this mat because my other mat was getting old and I wanted to replace it. When the mat came it seemed a little thinner than my other mat however I figured it wouldn't be a problem. Not two weeks in to having pitching lessons off of this mat and there was already a hole as the girls are dragging. All of the texture on the mound started shedding and where the girls are pushing off and landing seems cheap and not worth it. My other mat it's pitching mound had started to wear out and had a dent in it where my kids put their feet, it is 5 years old, understandable. This mat the pitching mound is unbelievably flat and gives them no room for push-off. I'm super disappointed with my purchase and will not be purchasing another mound from here again.

I picked this one based on some other reviews and price. So far it's been used a few times since Christmas and no issues. I liked the sand color vs the grass as it seems most of the fields my daughter plays on are that color. It comes rolled up tight with a nice strap that locks it all together and makes it easy to move.I'll update this in a few months after she gets some outdoor use with it.

My only complaint, which is very minor, is I wish they would roll it up the other direction. When you open it up it takes days to lay flat. The ends try to curl up. If they rolled it for shipping the other direction that wouldn’t happen.

Arrived today, this mat seems well made, definitely heavy, the pitching rubber seems a little thin but should be fine. I assume we will get many years of use out of this product. If it falls apart or disappoints, I will edit this review and time.

Decent for the money. It does slide around, we use dumbbells to weight it down for now. Will install anti slip pad in the bottom soon.

The strap to carry broke the first day, but everything else has worked out well. I am happy with the purchase overall, the mat does not slip when my team is pitching on it.

My daughter loves this for practicing in the back yard. Very well made. Pricy but seems very durable. I would recommend!
