I bought one of these Solar spinners last year. I was amazed at how strong it was, because I hung a 4 ft. long spiral twister that I bought at Hobby Lobby that I couldn’t get to turn in the breeze. Got this spinner and it took off! I forgot to bring it in over the winter and the solar plate got totally ruined, so I just bought another one. Not the fault of the product, the fault of the user! I highly recommend this spinner. Quick shipping, great product and good price.

Unless it’s in direct sunlight it doesn’t work. On bright days but not in direct sunlight it doesn’t produce any electricity.Where we have it located it’s in the direct sun in morning’s and late afternoon. The means our spinner sitting idle most of the day.

I bought this motor to turn my wind spinner. The specs say this motor should support 6 lbs or less.My wind spinner weighs exactly 4 lbs.At first it worked great. If there was direct sunlight on the little solar panel, the motor would turn.This meant it didn't turn at night even if it was switched on.But it simply stopped working after 10 days.Amazon won't allow a return because apparently it contains "flammable liquids or gases".Go figure.
