This surfboard is a great beginner/learning surfboard. Quality is great very durable and it’s been holding up as it should.

I was impressed with the build quality which well exceeded my expectations, especially at this competitive price. I received the 6’8” Casper in blue soft top with the black bottom. The bottom looks high end with the natural bamboo wood grain. The soft top also appears built to last. This setup even included the leash in the box. I had everything I needed to surf the same day I received the delivery. I am 6 ft, 195 pounds and believe this is a good size board - it still had plenty of volume/float for me. I am intermediate level with experience from surfing more in my younger years and picked this board to get back into it and kick off the dust. So far it’s been exactly what I was looking for.

Perfect weight and soft top value for me. Beginner but it is easy enough for me (small person, 5ft) to carry. Color is as shown.

I’m 5’8” and 145 pounds, works great from 2 feet up to 4~5 feet, easy to catch and so much to ride this board, high quality, worthy every penny! Thanks

Very responsive and fast board. Thing shreds. Very happy with the purchase. I plan to buy the 6'8" Casper and the 7'7" Elefante to have a decent quiver. I recommend getting a sock or bag for these boards. Way too precious to be kicking these around during transport or storage. I also bought the Sea Lion bodyboard. Unbelievably rigid and fast. My Mach 7 has been retired now that I dropped in on some fat waves with the Sea Lion bodyboard from South Bay. I cannot believe how nice these boards are. I am so stoked.

These boards are a hybrid, made from a hard epoxy bottom, bonded to a soft top. This particular board started crumbling apart at the seam after one day of usage from my 8 year old son riding 1-2 foot waves.I notified the manufacturer immediately (which was still only 5 days after purchase), and they completely ignored me. Just a heads up to anybody else considering one. If you decide to take the gamble, I get it.. they’re cheap. Good luck to you!

I was super excited about this board, but after the first 1-2 surfs, I noticed dark water spots in the epoxy bottom. I didn't see any dings or scratches especially after the first ride, but somehow the material is holding water. I emailed the seller and they were great at sending a replacement board, but that one also had the same issue after one 2 hour session.

Back story I am 6'1" and I'm roughly 165lb and I have both the Casper and big besty6'8" CASPER: this board is very easy to paddle and balance on however it is not like a wavestorm in terms of sinkability, meaning that I can still engage the rails and make swooping turns with ease I have taken this board out in small mushy 1-2ft waves and 9-10ft waves it handles beautifully in both (it has also been in multiple Wipeouts in both of those wave size senarios and has not taken any damage)5'5" BIG BESTY: this mushy wave king is truly my favorite board in the quiver. I usually ride this in a quad fin configuration (large fins in front medium fin on the rear) it never fails to find the sweet point on a wave face with its rounded nose and tail it is easy to paddle. with the deep channels and concave along the bottom it funnels water like a dream. I have taken this board out in the same size waves as the Casper and it is very flickable with the rounded almost skateboard shape it is fairly similar to my carver surfskate.
