Tips Before the First Use
- Fill the tank with clean water, taking care not to exceed the MAX level.
- Connect power plug, all indicator lights will flash for 2 seconds. Press Power button, then Coffee lights flash to indicate the appliance is heating up. When the Power and Coffee indicator lights always light on white, preheating accomplished.
- Press the steam button and turn on the steam knob to release the residual air. Keep this operation last for 30 seconds at least when the machine is the first time use or long time no use.
- Turn off the steam knob and attach the filter holder to the machine.
- Place a container under the boiler outlet and press the double cup coffee button to let the hot water come out to clean the filter. Repeat this operation for several times.

Though it looks nice this machine sucks. It over fills a 3 oz shot glass everytime making the coffee weak, the water reservoir is extremely cheaply made, it vibrates so bad the shot glass moves and the espresso misses the glass, the drip tray moves to easily. The filter does not go in or remove easily causing many messes. DO NOT PURCHASE !!!

Not a great esspresso machine. Coffee is weak. Puts out like 3 oz of coffee. I should've sent it back. Wasted money on that item.

I love the modern look on this espresso machine. I think it works ok great for the price. The manual could be better. Also it would be helpful if there was a video on here to show you how to use the machine. I emailed the seller, but never got a response.

I'm not usually an espresso drinker. But this machine was so easy to use. Looks amazing on my counter. Not super heavy. Coffee tasted amazing. I love the frother. I add lots of caramel to mine. Like I said I'm not an expert by any means, but the price for this machine is really good for the quality and ease to use!

For the price this actually makes a decent espresso. My reason for four stars is installing the portafilter. My counter is slick and the machine is relatively light compared to my other espresso machines. So I have to hold the machine to install the portafilter completely. However I have found that more you use it the easier it becomes to get it installed.The temperature is very good which surprised me and the steam is actually better than one of my other machines. Most baskets for the coffee grounds have a mark inside for the fill. I couldn’t find any marks on either the one cup or the two cup baskets. There is no meter to see how many bars of pressure that the machine is working at. Usually 10-12 bars are usually preferred.I roast my own coffee beans and have a very good burr grinder. I had to dump my old one because it wouldn’t produce a fine enough grind for making espresso. Keep in mind store bought espresso coffee grounds are not fine enough to produce a great cup of espresso. They do work well on the stove type espresso machines. So make sure you have a good burr grinder. Mine on the finest setting will actually choke my espresso machine that nothing will come out.Overall I am impressed with the quality and price point of this espresso machine.

We owned a coffee shop for 8 years, so I know a bit about espresso. The bar for this espresso maker was fairly low due to its low price, but it delivers. I will make a couple suggestions if you want quality espresso. First, get a good bean grinder, preferably a burr grinder. The better the grinder, the better the espresso - that's the real secret to good espresso. Second, buy quality whole bean coffee specifically roasted for espresso. All an espresso machine needs to do is force water at the correct temperature through grounds at the correct pressure. This machine does exactly that. The milk frother also works well, but personally I like my espresso straight. It also doesn't hurt that this looks good on the counter.
