Holy Canoli. This is exactly what I needed. I am a dummy and accidentally got a 10 gallon trashcan without the lid. I didn't want to pay like $60 for the combo but I was worried anything I got wouldn't fit, since I got some generic brand on Amazon. But this fit perfectly. And gosh. A good value at the price I got it! This will be more durable than the sheet of plastic I had strapped over the trash before and it is so much easier to take off and put on. Whoever invented lids really nailed functionality.

I used this to replace the lid on 20 gal Rubbermaid Roughneck trash can. It fits pretty well, the handles line up well including the lock holes but it is about 1/8 inch too wide for the lock tabs to hold on each handle. This is actually not a problem for me as I use this for my recycling and I prefer the top to be easy to remove for frequent opening. Over all an affordable option for the original lids that get sun baked and cracked since the OEM replacement lids are ridiculously expensive. I am happy. If you need this to snap and lock on a Roughneck can though it will not work for you.

The diameter is larger than my trash can (and I knew that it would be but the lid is made fairly sturdy and is not easily blown off - (and I get to postpone buying a whole new trash can when all I needed was a new lid!)

I needed a lid for a 21 inch diameter plastic can and this fit it perfectly. The can was not Sparta. This lid was about ten bucks and almost all the other lids were way more. I was surprised - and pleased - it was very sturdy. Not flimsy. A good value. The green is a bit "bright", but heck, it's a garbage can lid.
