Unit looked pretty much identical to the factory unit. It fit the housing as it was supposed to.As for durability, we'll see. It's only been installed for a week or so. I put about 300 miles on the truck, that's about 6 hours of running time, so far. It hasn't leaked yet. I doubt it will last 24 years like the original did. They didn't braze the pipes on, like the original. So far the heat output seems similar to the original, but it has yet to get really cold. Airflow does seem to be slightly lower than the original though.Overall, bang for buck. I can't complain. If it lasts 10 years. I will be happy.

Installed in my 2004 Ford Ranger. Works perfectly so far.I put 5 stars for ease of installation, as actually pulling the old one out of its case and installing the new was easy as pie. Getting to that point was an entire day of work, lol.

If you've ever had to replace a heater core, you know that it isn't the easiest task in the world but I've been running this heater core for the last 2 months after installation and so far, so good! I haven't had any problems with it and my heater will now run you out of the truck it gets so warm! I did have to replace the heater control valve as well because it was old and I cracked it while trying to pull stuff out. So I'd definitely watch out for that during the installation process of this product.

Excellent replacement part. I bought this to replace my leaking one. Read the reviews and seen comments about this product developing leaks quickly. All I can say to that is if that happens quickly, you have bigger issues to check. Electrolysis may be to blame... my part came with the same warranty stickers and labels as one bought from the local national parts chain.

Perfect fit for Ford ranger/ Mazda B series comes with extra padding you can put on if you want all fins were straight and all welding seemed to be done well and were not too small or showed signs of cracking.

So far, so good. It fit as needed, of course the labor required to replace sucks. But with a little bit of mechanical know how, it isn't quite so terrible. Still had to pull dash and steering column though. Appears exact as OEM, maybe with a bit more insulation. If you are replacing this, go ahead and replace the blend door while you have the dash and plenum out as the Ford Ranger plastic jointed door has a tendency to break at the upper pivot.
